Rainbow Faith Ministries was founded in the year 2002. The pioneer's consisted of three members from different churches in Nairobi Station Central Kenya Conference in East African Union.
Rainbow Faith Ministries is an affiliate of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Rainbow Faith Ministries is registered by the Government of the Republic of Kenya under Cap (108) Laws of Kenya as a Christian Evangelistic Association of Lay preachers.

In our Country today- Crime is on the rise.
The policy makers and the members of the general public are concerned-burglary; aggravated assault and murder are rampant. Crime of all sorts is being reported almost everywhere in the country everyday.
What is behind the upsurge of violence? Can crime be stopped?
The Government of Kenya has made it a priority to fight violence in all its forms; this is the cornerstone of Government policy on Security. There has been an overhaul of leadership in security agencies-transfers affected, early retirements recommended and carried out, tougher penalties suggested without remedy and even change of guard in high offices.
Can tougher laws diminish the upsurge of crime? Or Penalties? Or Change of Guard? More prison Cells? Does the answer lie in this?
The Bible sweeps aside the curtain and presents a total different perspective and answer- it reveals that the ultimate reason for crime in our society is the lack of morality amongst our citizens. When the Law of God is ignored, man’s law makes little difference. To relegate the Ten Commandments to another age, or simply insinuate that the Ten Commandments are out of date leads to the populace destruction as God’s Law is the most rudimentary constituent for all the society.
The solution to our personal problems and the ill’s that beset the society are found in the Ten Commandments, which offer guidelines for living, champion freedom when rightly understood and offer liberty. The Ten Commandments reveal God’s eternal plan for our happiness. They are medicine-strong medicine for those of us in deep trouble.
Obedience to the law is liberty, its our prayer that the recommendations submitted will be of necessity, nourishing and fulfilling to our spiritual lives- in attaining the highest sense of liberty and freedom in obedience to the Creator who has established his Laws for our ultimate happiness.
The recognition that the society is ill and in a state of despair cannot be challenged-its beyond our greasiest imagination or consideration. Yet there is still more hope for today than we have ever imagined. The hope is based on our willingness to take strong medicine and strong penalties to deter the lawless.
Moral standards continue to decay as generations mature, today, there is a growing connotation that there are no absolute rights or wrongs, the importance is what you feel in your heart and the values that you decide on. The Bible warns us about this-God’s Word says, “There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” Proverbs 14 V 12
God didn’t hand down ten suggestions at the Mount Sinai-He gave us Ten Commandments carved in stone and promised that when we follow the Ten Commandments, they will lead us to eternal life and if we disobey it would result to death.
This can only make us ponder, What is the source of our problems in our society today?
We live in a generation of superficiality, of sham and pretence. Things aren’t always as they appear to be. Who can you really trust? In what can you really place your confidence? Doubts and questions fill the air. Even in the religious arena some serious questions have been raised. Televangelists have gotten involved in financial fiasco’s, prominent Ministers have experienced moral falls and people who are in urgent need of God have not experienced the life changing power of God in their lives.
Our Focus should be on a religion that works-A religion that can make a difference where it counts- in our everyday life. The scripture says that, “the Devil believe and tremble.” James 2 V19 Christianity must lead us beyond belief. It must translate what we believe into action-transforming us from passive, mental assenters to bonafide active Christians.
Christ does make a difference- He makes a difference in the relationship that we have in our families, He makes a difference in our occupations and what more, It is only Christ religion that really works.
At the Rainbow Faith Ministries, We have looked at familiar doctrines of scripture in a new way-accepting the challenges that come as a result of surrendering our lives to Christ for a transformation.
Rainbow Faith Ministries in these pages, present the simple plain truths of the scriptures-letting God’s Word minister to us, as we keenly pay attention and listen from Him.
Our endeavor is to prepare you for settlement in God’s promised kingdom.
What should we do?
I. Allow God to work in us-All things are possible in the company of God Luke 18 V27 We have to stop relying on our strength or our friends Matthew 19 V26
II. Look to God and believe. When we trust and believe in God we will see an opportunity in every problem, not problems in the middle of every opportunity. Proverbs 16 V3
III. We must be bold and strong, banish fear and doubt remembering that God is with us wherever we go Joshua 1 V9
IV. Walk upright, nothing good will be withheld from them that walk upright in God Psalms 84 V11
We continue to punish ourselves with every lie and reward ourselves with every right action. A lie adds to our troubles, subtract from our energy, multiply our difficulties and divide our effectiveness.
We must therefore never view anything as an advantage to us that can make us break our word. At any war, between falsehood and truth, falsehood wins the first battle, but truth wins the war. This means that-
I. We must seek God-Know the truth and the truth will set us free John 6 V32
II. Refuse evil and choose Good. Isaiah 7 V15 dishonest gain will never last, so why take the risk? Proverbs 21 V6
III. We must accept the fact that ill-gotten gain is always scattered by the devil, shun the devil and all His schemes.
IV. A broken promise causes the World’s greatest accidents-Honesty always lasts longest. A lie never lives to be old.
V. Truth exists only lies are invented; there is never an instant force between virtue and vice.
VI. Truth needs no crutches if it limps it is a lie- a good man is guided by his honesty- the evil men are destroyed by their dishonesty. Proverbs 11 V3
VII. We must be still and know that there is a God Psalms 46 V10
VIII. We must not give in and do wrong when we are tempted James 1 V12
IX. Obey the Holy Spirit in order to succeed only Him can we serve. Galatians 5 V16
THE LEADERSHIP CRISIS
People everywhere in planet earth are looking for strong, trustworthy leadership. When a soldier signed up for second term of duty, He was asked why? “I tried civilian life”. Said He, “But nobody seem in charge out there!”
We need visionary leadership, A leadership that is consistent and persistent in fulfilling the aspirations of the people, This type of leadership must lead us to God because that is where our journey end up.
Though we may wallow in hopelessness, we are sure that God is in control and even when our human greatness often times fails us, God greatness never does fail us.
God is Holy-He demands Holiness from people who are called by His Name. The Lord is willing to sanctify and make us holy but only when we repent, turn from our evil ways and submit to Him in faith and obedience.
The difficult thing isn’t to carry an empty cup; rather it is to carry a cup that is full to brim-This cup needs to be most carefully balanced. Our Afflictions and adversity that we face may bring disappointments and sorrow, but it is prosperity that s most dangerous to spiritual life.
We need a re-awakening and a revival spiritually to heal our societal sickness and evil, lest our enemies take advantage of our weakness and attack us.
LEADERSHIP THOUGHTS
As a Leader, has an “Isaiah” or “Moses” ever approached you with instructions and corrections from God? Did you take the heed, or hardened your heart? What was the result, based on how you handled the situation?
God does not want anyone of us to perish II Peter 3 V9 that is why He sent Isaiah to the people of Judah-and Jesus to the World. However, the more we resist God, the harder we become at heart.
God Love toward us is unchanging, our individual response to His love is the crucial variable Ezekiel 2 V5; 3 V16-21
We must understand that-
I. We must stand firm in Faith or we shall not stand at all Isaiah 7 V9
II. Our friendship with the World equals enemity with God Galatians 4 V4
III. We should not love the World, or the things that are in the world-since when we love the World the Love of the father is not in us I John 4 V15
IV. We must Fear God Deuteronomy 31 V12
V. God will never forsake us Isaiah 54 V10
VI. Israel Apostasy (Resistance to God’s Mercy-Could we be an equivalent of Israel? Nehemiah 9; Psalms 78; and Acts 7
VII. The scriptures are there to guide us for our admonition and correction for safety eternally. I Corinthians 10 V11-12
VIII. Are we walking with God at all? Psalms 89 V31-33
IX. God’s position is that we repent-Confess our sins to one another and seek God’s intervention and forgiveness for our total reconciliation and new start Isaiah 1 V18
EMPOWERED LEADERS
True Leadership is about understanding God, yourself and those he has called you to lead. Spending time with God in prayer is the basic necessity to building positive leadership.
For those leading others, they are vehemently reminded that leadership is risky, expensive, time consuming and even dangerous. A Leader can be constructive or destructive depending on his moral principles James 3 V1 everyone, who has been given much, much is demanded of that person. The principle is the more you are entrusted with, the much more will you be asked to account! Luke 12 V24-48
Leadership is about influencing people for good. God gives increased ability when we need it. The empowered leader should be intimately aware of his real need to depend on the Lord constantly. God can use you to advance His purpose in your life and in the lives of those you lead.
Leadership is a selfless journey that involves devoting yourself to a group of people to accomplish great things for the Lord that you could never do alone, when leadership is effective, People are inspired to make things happen. They are transformed and outlive to grow in the likeness of Christ because they are made in the image of God. Genesis 1 V26 God makes his dwelling place with them and a period of immense blessing is experienced as long as they stay connected in the presence eof God.
Our God is a jealous God, for us to succeed as being good leaders; we must renew our covenant with him through thanksgiving, prayers, repentance, forgiveness and reconciliation for maximum blessings.
LEADERSHIP PRINCIPLES
(a) Leaders are selected and installed by God
(b) They Present God’s Authority
(c) They teach us how God runs His kingdom on this earth.
(d) God uses natural things in this life to teach of spiritual Ephesians 5 V23-32
(e) Our relationship with Him as his Children I John 3 V1
(f) Human government teaches us about authority and submission to God himself through governance, “behold therefore, the goodness and severity of God Romans 11 V22 the Government is to represent and teach of God not to take a place of God.
(g) Satan has tried to stop the spread of the gospel through his won plans of anarchy and totalitarian government. Satan still tries to be God. He will work through Government machination, if a government turns against God, His people and His word, it is held accountable as was pharaoh and Nebuchaduezzar Exodus 3 V11 Daniel 4
(h) That is why we have wars in heavenly places for control of Nations Daniel 10 V12-13 Ephesians 6 V12
(i) Leaders must seek the Lord in their Governance for the Lord to bless the Land Psalms 32 V12
(j) When Leadership does not heed God’s Word but follows Satan’s designs, there is usually turmoil in the land. However, the remnants (salt) of the Land can bring blessing through prayers offered on behalf of the nation. Remnants are encouraged to join Governments systems for these blessings.
(k) A Nation is blessed or cursed because of legislation; Godly leadership and Godly people ensure a Nation success.
(l) “The people perish because of lack of knowledge.” Says, The Lord Ezekiel 33 V11; Hosea 3 V6 We must always hear the word of the Lord and do His requirements for prosperity. Romans 10 V17
(m) We must seek the truth, in order to be set free John 8 V31-32 remember that the Lord has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land Hosea 4 V1-6 because there is lack of neither truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. The truth must be based on Gods Word
(n) Our National Strength must be anchored on God’s strength and promises I John 4 V16; Exodus 3 V14; II Chronicles 16 V9 Jesus is the only way to God.
(o) Where there is no blood there is no knowledge of God, people need to understand whom God is and what is His Character is like for prosperity. We should not compare ourselves to other nations Ii Corinthians 10 V12-13 our standards is based on God’s inspired words and it should never change because God never changes. Malachi 3 V61; ||Hebrews 13 V8. This calls that we guide ourselves from the destroyer who is the (evil one) John 10 V10
(p) Believers must repent for their own sins of complacency and the sins of the Nation Daniel 9 V3-11 by returning to the Lord, our curses can be turned into blessing.
EMPOWERED NATION
From Eternity the Kingdoms (Nations) are preserved through believers of Jesus Christ who rely and act on the word of God as explained in the Bible.
As a Nation we ought to offer God our appreciation through worship for being gracious to us in our times of need. You will remember our struggle to restore law and order, end corruption, nepotism insecurity, hunger, disease, illiteracy and even more so to uplift our moral standards.
When we humbled and sought God through prayer and supplication, he heard our prayers. God recognized the faithful of this land and healed the land, He want us to repent our sinful nature in order for us to be sanctified in His presence and commune with Him. We must work out our salvation with fear and trembling because he delivered us in our sinful state and we didn’t deserve it. Ezekiel 18 V32
It is only when a Child is born, that there is real joy and thanksgiving, God granted unto a us a gift of all times, a Chance to change and alter the history of our motherland. He wants us to reach to other Nations through our conduct, proclamation and reverence unto him. Are we going to tell somebody about his goodness or we will become hypocritical and unthankful to keep quite when many are hurting like we did before God came into our rescue?
Satan, the prince of the world II Corinthians 4 V4 is enraged by the blessings given by God and is determined to disrupt our new found love. Whom shall we serve God or mammon?
BELOVED KENYANS WHAT MUST BE DONE
We must confess
(a) Confessions will bring us face to face with our sinfulness Leviticus 26 V40-42
(b) Confession is necessary for sanctification
(c) Confession will bring healing and restoration to sinners I John 1
(d) Once we forgive, we will be forgiven and blessed Luke 6 V37
God want you reconciled unto Him through love of one another as expressed through Jesus Hebrews 7 V25
Our justification will be made complete through Jesus Acts 13 V38-41
We must be kind and compassionate to one another Ephesians 4 v32
God will soon crush Satan under our feet
Selfishness is the greatest curse of human race, self-interest is a fire that consumes others and then self. (KANU)
Those that are happy are only those who will have found out the way to serve Proverbs 11 V25
Do not worry about anything, instead pray about everything; tell God your needs and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. Philippians 4 V6 let him have our worry and cares for He is always thinking about you I Peter 5 V7
Believe in God’s Promise Mark 11 V24 Invite Him into your life
If God is your father call upon Him-Let us humble ourselves to give Him glory in Thanksgiving, Be yea therefore merciful as your Father also is merciful Luke 6 V36
Remember forgiveness is a gift from God-pass it on.
Blessed is the Nation whose God is the Lord Psalms 33 V12 He has thus commissioned us Matthew 5 v13 we should therefore favor and preserve the world as instructed. We are receiving emissaries from some countries who would want to study the story of our success in government transition. The Bible tell us that in Christ we are the light of the world Matthew 4 V14 God want us to dispel Satan darkness which wraps the world systems. We are to pray for our Nation and Leaders I Timothy 2 V2 We are united today because of the faithful few who are living in our midst and praying for us everyday. To increase our measure of Gods immense blessing for us, lets all of us join with one accord in prayers and thanksgiving. II Chronicles 7 V14
Break lose form the hand of the devil so that your mind is not dulled in doing good Ii Corinthians 4 V4 Satan is the force behind the problems that we face in our country today. We Must be freed form his snare as he has no hold of us when we are in Christ Jesus. We must continue to labor all day and become conquerors with Christ Matthew 16 V18 Romans 8 V28-37
God has given us a chance to lead, we must excel in our working so that –He may empower us even for bigger things, if we ruin our position, He rejects us and in comes somebody else.
We must always remember that God does not change –we must be changed and conformed to his divine will and plan for ourselves and those around us. Romans 13 V1-3
The Kenyan People must be prepared to change in order for God to work in this country.
